A few months ago Moiez dropped his gorgeous original, “What I Need This Time.” If you recall, it was right after Soundcloud deleted his account for violating copyright with a remix of Calvin Harris’ Summer. He made a vow to fans and other young producers alike that he would make the stems to his original available and encouraged anyone and everyone to remix the track, in an effort to create a much needed conversation about creative licensing. I, for one, am glad he did. Today, a couple of young producers by the names of Samme and Almond dropped this exceptional remix of Moiez’s track. Crediting him as a major inspiration, the two reworked the emotional vocals and progressions into one of the finest electro/progressive tracks I’ve had the pleasure of writing about here on FITA.
